Marketing Class Project

During my fall 2024 semester, I was in a healthcare marketing class where I developed a comprehensive plan for 'Mindful IU,' a new mental health service at IU Indianapolis. This project involved conducting a situational analysis, defining three SMART objectives, and creating targeted strategies to increase student engagement. I learned how to use data to design effective marketing tactics and communicate clearly to a specific audience. This project was meaningful because it demonstrated how marketing can improve access to important services and directly impact well-being. It also strengthened my research, strategic planning, and creativity—skills critical for my future in healthcare administration. ​

Strategic Planning Project

Strategic Preliminary Plan for Eskenazi Health: 


In the spring of 2024, I took a class called Strategic Planning for Healthcare Organizations, where I created a strategic preliminary plan for Eskenazi Health. This assignment required me to conduct an in-depth analysis of the organization, assess its strengths and weaknesses, and propose strategies to improve its services and operations. Through this project, I developed a stronger understanding of the strategic planning process within a healthcare setting. It taught me the importance of aligning an organization's goals with its resources and the healthcare needs of the community it serves. Strategic planning is a very important skill for hospital administration, and this experience has been invaluable in sharpening my strategic thinking, which will serve as a foundation for my future work in healthcare administration.
